CHEAPEST known freight forwarding/customs broker options? I’m snagged again with no quote and no info with which to get a quote. Expensive shipping is not an option at all. I asked for the dimensions and details, but my supplier keeps asking to speak directly with my freight forwarder.

do u mean ur trying to find out weight and dimensions but they tell u to ask ur freight fwder. Your freight forwarder won’t know. The supplier is the one shipping it out to them.

Be careful of that. Think about how easy it could be for the supplier to cut you out once they have direct shipping plans to Amazon. Not saying your supplier would do that but be careful

The supplier works for you. Tell them you want a new quote with Weight (kg), Volume (CBM), # of cartons, if on a pallet then how many pallets. I also make them tell me how many items in a carton. If they don’t give you this info… walk… something is fishy.

Also, freight forwarders often skip the amateur importer and call the supplier directly to arrange shipping. It’s much easier for all parties involved, and less prone to time killing error.
