I have a question about Trade Assurance on Alibaba. I feel like I’ve found a sound & professional supplier for a product, but then found they cover only the 30% deposit with trade assurance. I tried to get them to cover the whole amount, but they said they don’t & that this is normal. Is it really? I’m new to this, but other suppliers say they cover the whole amount. This company has the best prices & shipping times & seem very organized. What to do??

We don’t trust Chinese companies whatsoever (been down this road) and I don’t trust Alibaba very much either. I heard reports they reneged on their trade assurance for some people when the orders came in wrong. Wow 30%,,, let’s see. You send in $10,000 to Wang Hung. They *guarantee* you get 30% back so thats $3,000. The Chinese company never makes your stuff or sends something completely wrong at your expense (left over crap from the warehouse.) So that’s $7,000 and they split it 50-50 with Alibaba. Alibaba ends up with $500 net and the Chinese manufacturer ends up with $3500. How convenient. I wouldn’t do it for less than 90% guarantee but thats your call.

I only pay with PayPal. I don’t think I even can order directly through Alibaba since I am in Washington state.
