I have a couple of questions and would like to request your help on it.
1) Is it true that you need to have a Professional Seller’s account to apply for Brand Registry on Amazon?
2) Does Amazon require people with Professional Sellers accounts to carry a liability insurance?
3) Are you required by Amazon to have a Professional Sellers account to run promotions (PPC), and set up giveaways?
Thanks, I appreciate your assistance.

if you have any intention to even sell on Amazon beyond a hobby level, you’ll want a professional account. Period.
So in my opinion, these questions are irrelevant. Get a pro account. Get busy making money and you won’t even think of the fee.
I’ve never noticed it. Ever.

This is about the liability insurance- do you carry it for your Amazon business.

- No. But its better. With it you can use bulk upload to get upc exemption. Otherwise you buy upc codes and list manually.

- Yes, but there’s a sales quantity threshold over three months before its required, in most cases. (for the $1 million liability CGL)

You have to also check the product liability insurance typically cost. And also who is the best and cheapest in Florida.
