Is it normal that your fright forwarding company ask to approve them as a verified user of your seller central in order to create shipments?

I believe I read somewhere that FBAimporter asks for it, probably so they can generate your shipping labels instead of your having to ask them a million questions. I can see why that would be advantageous.

FBA prep companies generally ask for it so they can print the FNSKU labels, and the shipment labels. You only need to give them one right in order for them to do that part: Manage FBA Inventory/Shipments.

They will see everything you sell. What they are asking for is access to your shipping functionality and inventory data. This allows them to create shipping plans within SC without bothering (or waiting for) the client.

We offer this service to our clients as well. It’s a hard sell at first, and usually something that occurs once a relationship is built.
And, if you’ve ever tried to set up shipping labels, you’ll probably be really happy to have someone do it for you.
