Lately I’ve been trying to use Freighteo to consolidate large amounts of samples, but they haven’t updated any of my shipments that the tracking # says have been delivered to them, and I can’t get a hold of anyone through chat or email. Does anyone have similar experiences dealing with Freighteo, or perhaps a phone number?

I have yet to use them, but have reached out to their customer service for a question I had. They seem like they would provide good service, I would be interested to hear from others who have used them as well.

they will say all costs included but when it gets to your country you will be hit by fees for things that were not included. google freight forwarders. They take all business from tiny to huge, because that’s how they make money…. throw your detail into http://www.freighteo.com/ and get an air quote. sea freight is not cost effective for small amounts of goods. it’s actually more expensive than air until you hit a certain amount.

It’s true that there are lots of fees associated with importation by sea - but brokering costs will exist regardless of shipment method once you’re over $2,500 and cannot bring the items in by informal importation.
To be effective, you need to have a pallet’s worth of goods or more to import by sea.
